Pink who is one of the most remarkable and well-known
singers on the planet requires no introduction since she is known by her
immaculate talent and expertise in music all over the world. She was born to Judy
and Jim as their second child in the year 1979 outside Philadelphia in the
neighborhood of Doylestown, PA. They were a middle-class family and brought up
their child in a loving and caring manner. According to her parents, Alecia who
is known as Pink (her stage name) was visibly inspired by music ever since she
was a child.
Things kept going good until her parents Judy and Jim
started having differences. As the time passed, their differences grew bigger
and soon they reached a point where they found it more appropriate to part
their ways. The couple got divorced which obviously affected the life of their
kids. Pink became one of the angriest kids as she was around thirteen years of
age. Because of no proper care and parenting, she got into drugs, clubbing and
dancing. Once she even overdosed which nearly cost her life. Pink was a
troubled teen at that time and it was one of the toughest times of her life.
Pink started writing songs and sung as well at the local
clubs, pubs and bars. She got enough appreciation from the public which sky-rocketed
her confidence, getting her back to life. She got into music and worked with
many musical groups locally until she was able to release her own debut album
‘Can’t take me home’ which got tremendous popularity across the US and the
world. In the year 2001, Pink got great acclaim as she was given Grammy Award.
In the year 2001, Pink also got an honor of contributing vocally to the song
‘Lady Marmalade’ along with the legendary Christina Aguilera.
